The Daily News released its front cover of the historic day.Already dead? umm well Bin Laden's death causes relief from his enemies, and some people are celebrating at this moment.
President Obama announced it  Sunday night, in a televised address to the nation. According to U.S. intelligence Bin Laden's death was the results of an operation launch yesterday  in Abbottabad, Pakistan, against a compound where bin Laden was believed to be hiding. After a firefight, a small team of American forces killed bin Laden and took possession of his body, the president said.
Spontaneous, celebratory rallies broke out in New York City at ground zero, where the World Trade Center towers fell on Sept. 11, 2001 and outside the White House where President Barack Obama announced bin Laden's slaying in a helicopter raid in Pakistan.

Crowds celebrate on Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House in Washington, early Monday, May 2, 2011, after President Barack Obama announced that Osama bin Laden had been killed.
