THOR - Movie Review

Thor is finally arriving in americas theater next weekend. And if you are curious what it’s really like on a movie set, the behind the scenes footage is great to watch. 

What it is?: Thor, being perhaps the most "difficult" of comic books being brought to cinematic adaptation, as it tells the tale of the Norse God Thor (Chris Hemsworth), who is punished by his father the almighty Odin (Anthony Hopkins) to earth. Stripped of his powers, Thor learns the meaning of selflessness,sacrifice and courage as he battles monsters unleashed upon earth by his evil brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston).
I thought the movie was great also, while Thor is not an easy transition from comic  as i said director Kenneth Branagh made it work.

Immigration rights group organizes May Day march

 The fifth annual march for the immigrant rights will be on sunday,  were supporters will demand that workers have the right to unionize and decry the inhumane treatment of immigrants. Organizers claim this year about 50,000 people will join them at the march.

Called the San Jose May 1 Coalition, members will meet as early as noon at Story and King roads in East San Jose. Organizers hope thousands will join them at 4 p.m. to march the three miles to City Hall downtown.

LAPD Deputy Chief Jose Perez says police will be out in force but plan to keep a low profile and keep the march peaceful.

They are emphasizing workers' rights this year," said Cesar Juarez, organizing director of Services, Immigrant Rights, and Education Network or SIREN.

About 50,000 people marched last year for federal immigration law reform in the wake of Arizona's crackdown on illegal immigrants.

NASA's Endeavour launch delayed for technical problems

Grant Presidential and nearly a century and half later the United States Mint will release to the Federal Reserve Banks  a new $1 coin struck in honor of Grant, who went on to become the Nation's 18th President. Its goin to be on may 19 because that day marks the annyversary of Grant's campaing in 1863.
Both the obverse (heads side) and the reverse (tails side) designs on the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential $1 Coin are by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Don Everhart.  In addition to Grant's portrait, the coin's obverse bears the inscriptions Ulysses S. Grant, In God We Trust, 18th President and 1869-1877.  The coin's reverse bears a rendition of the Statue of Liberty and the inscription UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.  The year of minting or issuance, 2011, E PLURIBUS UNUM and the mint of origin are incused on the coin's edge.

The White House released President Obama's birth certificate, to "honored" Donald Trump, well at least this is the way Sr. Trump feel at the moment for playing a role in the issue.
